ADHD Counselling
Over the years, working with men with ADHD has become a growing focus area and passion for me, and I hold an additional certification specifically in ADHD-focused clinical care (ADHD-CCSP). I support clients in understanding their individual strengths and challenges with ADHD and in finding practical strategies that fit their unique needs. Whether it's managing emotions, improving focus, navigating relationships, or routine tasks, I offer a compassionate, structured space where we can work together to build tools for daily life. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping you make sense of ADHD in a way that feels clear, manageable, and empowering. I draw on EMDR and trauma-informed approaches whenever challenging emotions are part of the picture.
Another important theme of the work I do with every client, but in particular with men navigating ADHD, is motivation. In therapy, we will work to bolster and align with your inherent motivation, learn to understand the ebbs and flows of motivation, and how best to navigate this in building an authentically meaningful life.
